Meet the instructor

Hi, I’m Paula Conquest

All classes and workshops are taught by Paula. She earned her education and formal training in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies at Northeastern University and Gallaudet University, then spent many years in human services and education working with Deaf, Deaf/Blind and hard-of-hearing children and adults with various developmental disabilities.

Most notably, Paula is a mom of two children who were each signing before they could speak — the original Itsy Bitsy Signers! After such successful communication with her own babies, she paired her training and experience to create Itsy Bitsy Signers.

Since its start in 2006, Paula has helped many families communicate better with their pre-verbal hearing babies, as well as pre-verbal babies with various developmental delays.
